Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox attended her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She took a course in harpsichord and flautist piano over 3 years. Lennox lived on a student allowance and took on part-time employment to augment her funds. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance in comparison to her fellow students and she pondered what alternative direction she would take. Lennox played the flute in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. She quit the band before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. Between 1977 and 1980, she sang in The Tourists. A British pop group. This is where she first got to know Dave Stewart with whom she will form her pop group Eurythmics. Lennox worked on her solo debut album Diva. It was released in 1993. The album was an enormous hit both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album debuted in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. It is a collection comprising four tracks that were improvised. The E.P. is an accompanying piece for her installation of art in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called"Now, I'll let You Go... It's also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is an activist, philanthropist as well as a performer. The Tourists were a new-wave group who had some recognition in the 1970s. In the following years, Lennox was joined by her fellow singer-songwriter Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox started her solo career with her first album Diva in the year 1992. This was the source of many hit songs like"Why" and "Walking through the Broken Glass. Medusa is the album she recorded as her first studio album in 1995. The album features covers of songs like No MoreI Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo albums include six album compilations and studio albums.
