Maureen FitzSimons's achievements as a child performer in America (which we refer to as Maureen O'Hara today) would certainly put her in the child-prodigy category. But for a person from Irish background, surrounded by talented parents and family members, they had innate talents. Maureen was welcomed into the family-oriented house on August 17th, 20th in Ranelagh. Marguerita FitzSimons' mother, Lilburn, was an contralto. Charles FitzSimons owned the Shamrock Rovers soccer club in Ireland and ran the Shamrock Rovers soccer club and a Dublin business. Maureen FitzSimons' is the 2nd FitzSimons child. Peggy FitzSimons Florrie Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons James O'Hara made up this family. Maureen was a natural athlete and enjoyed playing tough sporting games. Her ability to perform was a perfect complement to her love of sport. She was awarded nearly all Feis Award for Theatre and Drama that her country had to provide. When she turned 14, she was accepted to the highly acclaimed Abbey Theater and pursued her dreams of classical theatre along with operatic music.
